June 8, 2005
Absolut Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:ABS) is pleased to announce that the Company has received drilling results from the first ten holes of its Phase Three reverse circulation drill program completed on the Pico Machay, High Sulphidation Gold Project in Peru. Highlights of the drilling include holes ABS-128 intersecting 76m @ 1.06 g/t Au and ABS-131 intersecting 33m @ 1.19 g/t Au and 54m @ 1.24 g/t Au.

Also of note was hole ABS-126 which is located to the north of the dacite dome (500m north of the Central Zone), which intersected 12m @ 2.66 g/t Au. Further drilling will need to be completed to determine the extent of this mineralisation which appears to be located along the northern contact of the dacite and the intruded volcanic pile.

Mineralisation in the Central Zone has been extended eastward with ABS-135 intersecting 30m @ 2.32 g/t Au. The mineralisation remains open to the northeast.
