Absolut Intersects 1.48 g/t Gold Over 107 Metres

Absolut Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:ABS) is pleased to announce that the Company has received further drilling results from its Phase Three reverse circulation drill program completed on the Pico Machay, High Sulphidation Gold Project in Peru. Highlights include ABS-136 intersecting 107.5m @ 1.48 g/t Au, ABS-140 intersecting 43.5m @ 1.77 g/t Au and ABS-143 intersecting 46.5m @ 1.49 g/t Au.

Drillhole ABS-143 is located 125m to the northeast of the previously reported ABS-135 (30m @ 2.32 g/t Au) (see Company press release dated June 8, 2005). From hole ABS-135 the orientation of the mineralisation changes from east-west to northeast as it wraps around the contact between the dacite dome and the overlying volcanics. The strike length of the main zone to date is 600m and remains open to the northeast and west.

Drill results, calculated using a 0.3 g/t Au cut-off and up to 1.5m of internal dilution are as follows:

As a reference, the Newmont / Buenaventura Yanacocha high sulphidation gold mine has an overall grade of 0.96 g/t Au and Barrick's Alto Chicama deposit grades 1.39 g/t Au.

Absolut's wholly owned subsidiary, Minera Calipuy SAC has an agreement with Monterrico Metals PLC to earn up to a 75% interest in the Pico Machay gold project.

Absolut has implemented a quality control program to ensure best practice in chemical sampling and analysis of surface and reverse circulation drilling samples. Analytical services are provided for by ALS Chemex Laboratories in Lima and North Vancouver.
